
Businesses across Delmarva looking to grow their workforce are invited to participate in the 2026 Delmarva Job & Career Expo, presented by the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and Quality Staffing Services.
The Delmarva Job & Career Expo will be held Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Midway Room at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury.
The expo is one of the region’s largest hiring events, attracting hundreds of job seekers representing a wide range of experience levels, educational backgrounds, and career interests. Whether businesses are hiring for full-time, part-time, seasonal, skilled trades, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, retail, education, government, or professional positions, the Delmarva Job & Career Expo provides an outstanding opportunity to recruit qualified candidates face-to-face.

Employer Participation
Businesses from throughout the Lower Eastern Shore are encouraged to reserve their space early.
Employer participation includes:
- Individual exhibit space for $150, including one table and two chairs.
- Electrical service available for an additional $25.
- Premium Business Sponsor opportunities for $500, featuring premium booth placement and enhanced visibility through event signage, print materials, social media, press releases, SBYBiz.org, SalisburyArea.com, and additional event marketing.
The event is open to businesses of all sizes, from small local companies to major regional employers.
Job Seeker Services
Job seekers are encouraged to come dressed for success and bring multiple copies of their resumes for distribution to potential employers.
Free services will be available to all job seekers including:
- Resume Doctor – offers one on one assistance for job seekers aiming to improve their resumes for maximum impact.
- American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation – providing deaf and hard-of-hearing job seekers with interpretation services, enabling them to fully participate and showcase their skills and qualifications.
- Spanish and Haitian-Creole Translators – bridging communication gaps by converting written and spoken content between these languages and English.
- American Job Center (AJC) Mobile Unit – equipped with computers, internet access, and other resources to facilitate job searching, training, and career development.
More Than Just a Hiring Event
The Delmarva Job & Career Expo is designed to help job seekers put their best foot forward by offering complimentary career resources, including resume assistance, language interpretation services, and workforce development resources. These added services help employers connect with applicants who are prepared and ready to interview.
The event will also feature a limited Non-Profit Circle, providing eligible nonprofit organizations with an opportunity to share volunteer opportunities and community services. Participation is FREE to any non-profit organization that has been a SACC member in good standing for a minimum of three consecutive years. Applications will be approved based on eligibility and date of receipt of the application. Solicitations for donations during the expo are not permitted.
Businesses are encouraged to register early to secure their preferred exhibit location and maximize exposure leading up to the event.
The deadline to register is September 25, 2026.
