Chesapeake Health Care Welcomes Sarah Giusto, MSN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, to Behavioral Health Team in Berlin

Chesapeake Health Care is pleased to announce that Sarah Giusto, MSN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, has joined its Behavioral Health team and will be providing psychiatric and mental health services at the organization’s Berlin location.

A board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Giusto brings more than a decade of medical experience caring for patients in a variety of clinical settings, including operating room, oncology, medical-surgical, telemetry, and behavioral health environments. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her strong clinical judgment, patient-centered approach, and commitment to collaborative care. Her transition to psychiatric-mental health practice reflects a longstanding commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that considers the whole person and helps patients feel heard and supported.

Ms. Giusto earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University and previously received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University and a Bachelor of Science in Health & Exercise Science from Rowan University. Prior to joining Chesapeake Health Care, Ms. Giusto spent more than a decade in nursing, developing extensive clinical experience across surgical, oncology, medical-surgical, telemetry, and behavioral health settings.

Her diverse clinical background has shaped a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to psychiatric care. “I’m excited to join Chesapeake Health Care and have the opportunity to serve patients and families on the Eastern Shore. My goal is to create a space where patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their care, while providing thoughtful, evidence-based treatment tailored to each individual,” said Giusto. “We are excited to welcome Sarah to our Behavioral Health team,” said Crystal Lambert, Director of Mental Health at Chesapeake Health Care. “Her extensive nursing experience, dedication to patient-centered care, and passion for improving access to behavioral health services make her a wonderful addition to our organization.
