SACC’s September BAH hosted at Bay Harbor Post Acute & Healthcare Center

Salisbury, MD – The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) and its members were delighted to welcome the fall season during the September Business After Hours networking event hosted by Bay Harbor Post Acute & Healthcare Center, located at 200 Civic Avenue in Salisbury.

Attendees enjoyed an evening of networking while sampling refreshing beverages and a delicious buffet prepared by Bay Harbor’s staff. Guests also had the opportunity to participate in prize drawings featuring themed gift baskets, including spa, fall, and tailgate basket.

In addition to networking and refreshments, guests toured a resident room and one of the facility’s physical therapy and rehabilitation gym, gaining insight into the services and amenities available at the center.

The event also supported the SACC/Wor-Wic Scholarship Fund, with attendees purchasing raffle tickets for a chance to win two $50 gift cards. Lucky winner Sarah Bunting took home gift cards to Taylor’s BBQ and Ocean Downs Casino.

Guests were welcomed by Administrator Jane Ketterman, Director of Community Relations Rose O’Neill, and members of the Bay Harbor team. During her remarks, Ketterman shared her unique connection to the facility.  “I began my career in this very building more than 46 years ago as a nursing aide,” said Ketterman. “After pursuing other opportunities throughout my career, I was contacted by our parent company, Marquis Health Services, last year and invited to return as administrator.”

Ketterman also highlighted the significant investments made in the facility over the past year and a half.  “We are thrilled to have completed extensive renovations throughout the property,” she said. “We believe in taking care of our employees so they can, in turn, provide the highest quality care to patients. We are also excited to offer now a 30-bed in-house dialysis program.  With a maximum occupancy of 305 residents, today we are serving approximately 250 residents, with the goal of reaching full occupancy in the near future.”
