United Way Holds Second Annual Eastern Shore “Cornament”

United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore will hold its second annual Eastern Shore “Cornament” on Saturday, September 12th at the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury.  This event is the largest cornhole tournament on the Eastern Shore, and will begin at 12:00 p.m., with doors opening at 11:00 a.m.  With a 128 team limit, the cost to register a team of two players is $50, and includes a 2015 Cornament t-shirt as well as trophies for winning teams.  To register a team for the event, visit www.unitedway4us.org and click the Cornament link on the home page, or call the United Way at 410-742-5143.  Admission is free for spectators.

The family-friendly event will feature food, drinks and entertainment for all, as well as a “kids corner” with moon bounce, Sherman the Shorebird, Carlos the Juggling Magician, face painting, kids cornhole play and a prize wheel.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore and the local community.  Corporate sponsorships of this event total over $23,000, and include Interstate Container as the Presenting Sponsor, and Corn King Sponsors, Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals, M-Pak Technology Inc., South Chicago Packaging and Froggy 99.9 FM.
