Sunday September 6, from 10am till 4 pm Poplar Hill Mansion will host their annual Civil War Heritage Day, the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.
Bring the family and join us for refreshments, exhibits of weapons, medical instruments and more. Local authors will be present with a chance to buy an autographed copy of their books, handmade rugs, greeting cards, aprons and more. Civil War sing along for more fun. View the paintings of local artist and Confederate partisan, Clara Gunby. This is a free event, donations welcome.
If you would like to donate food to the needy, please bring non perishables. Poplar Hill Mansion is a 501 (c) ( 3), and the oldest and only Federal House in Salisbury. All donations go toward our restoration projects at the Mansion.
