Chamber members, local elected officials, business and organizational leaders gathered on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the offices of the City of Salisbury for the SACC Business after Hours. Networking, great food and beverages from Mojo’s Restaurant in Salisbury were enjoyed by the nearly one-hundred attendees!

Salisbury Mayor Jake Day greeted the attendees and welcomed all of them to tour the City offices. “These are not our offices but rather these offices belong to the citizens. We are happy to have everyone with us this evening,” Day stated.

He went on to speak to the symbiotic relationship the City and the business community share, “In many cities, there are differences between the business community and the city. We are fortunate that our government and businesses all pull together in the same direction.”

To begin Mayor Day’s remarks, Chamber Member and local artist Seven Bergman presented an original work of art as a gift to the City. Mayor Day commented that the walls of the City offices are cloaked with local art and that tradition will continue with this new addition.
