Coastal Hospice announces a new fundraiser that will benefit Coastal Kids Supportive Care, the hospice pediatrics program.
Red White & Brew is an all-new Craft Beer and Summertime Cookout Festival and will feature beer tastings from five Maryland craft breweries: Fin City, Evo, Union, Heavy Seas and Backshore. Brew River in Salisbury will host the all-you-can-eat event on Saturday, July 19 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Along with the tastings, festival attendees will enjoy a summertime cookout on the Wicomico River and listen to live music by Drymill Road String Band. Comcast Spotlight is the presenting sponsor. Prizes will be awarded for the best Maryland pride outfit and the most patriotically dressed.
Admission is $40 in advance and $45 at the door, and includes a complimentary logo beer mug. Reservations are being taken at www.CoastalHospice.org.
Proceeds benefit Coastal Kids Supportive Care, a service of Coastal Hospice & Palliative Care. The Coastal Kids program is a supplement to medical treatments and a shoulder to lean on when a child is critically ill. The program focuses on the well-being and in-home care of pediatric patients and their families using a holistic approach through a team of physicians, registered nurses, social workers and chaplains.
Coastal Hospice – and Coastal Kids Supportive Care – is a nonprofit health care organization that cares for individuals facing life-limiting conditions but who want to remain as active and engaged as possible. Coastal Hospice cares for patients in their home, nursing home, assisted living facility or at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. The organization serves Wicomico, Worcester, Dorchester and Somerset counties.
