The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce gathered on October 8, 2019 for a ribbon cutting to officially recognize the Davis Strategic Development brand.

Davis Strategic Development is a real estate development and property management company committed to improving the Salisbury area. They specialize in restoring distressed properties that create lasting value for the community. Co-owned by Bret and Kirk Davis, the company is spearheading several notable renovations in Salisbury, including 235 W. Main Street, the City Center on the Downtown Plaza and all but the top floor of One Plaza East, the old Wicomico Hotel Building.

In addition to newly renovated apartments, One Plaza East is the home to Angello’s Scoops, an ice cream parlor and gift shop owned by Sandy Fitzgerald Angello. It also houses Mogan’s Oyster House, slated to open in two weeks.

Another Davis Strategic Development project on the horizon will be built on the current Lot 16 in downtown Salisbury.  That building will feature 45 luxury apartments, secure parking, a restaurant and a host of amenities including a gym, yoga room and fourth floor sky deck.

Often the spokesperson for the company, Co-owner Bret Davis’ acknowledged the contributions of the Davis Strategic Development team, Co-Owner and brother, Kirk Davis, Director of Operations, Chelsea Hogue, and Accounting Manager, Tom Clark.   “Without them, nothing would get done. Nothing,” joked Bret Davis.

Davis’ enthusiasm about Downtown Salisbury is palpable. He explains, “A number of factors are making what was once just a vision, become reality: a cooperative city, a Mayor that is pushing to resolve problems and young developers that are here for the long haul.”  Davis continued, “We’re seeing it come together and soon it’s going to blow people’s minds. This is Salisbury!”
