Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF), announces the addition to the firm of several new employees as well as a summer intern.
Joining the Milford, Delaware office, Cliff Mumford, P.E., brings several years of experience with surveying and engineering to DBF. A graduate of the University of Delaware, he will be acting as a manager for many of the firm’s civil engineering projects, including Redden Wood, Governors, and Woodfield Preserve subdivisions. Mumford is a lifelong resident of Milford, currently living there with his wife and two children.
Providing IT services for all three of DBF’s office locations in Salisbury, Milford and Easton, Jordan Wharton joined the firm earlier this year and was instrumental in the firm’s move to two new state-of-the-art offices. A graduate of Wor-Wic Community College and University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Wharton is the new Assistant IT Administrator. A native of Salisbury, Maryland, he is also a member of the local M4 Reactor Maker Space.
A Senior CAD Designer based in the Milford office, Kenny Bowers brings more than twenty years of experience to 
DBF. After completing his degree in architectural drafting at Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Bowers went on to provide CAD design services for construction, engineering, survey and architectural firms during the last two decades. After living in Pennsylvania most of his life, Bowers and his family recently relocated to Bowers Beach, Delaware.
Ches Townsend, E.I.T., native of Dagsboro, recently graduated from University of Delaware 
in Newark with a degree in Civil Engineering. He has successfully completed his Engineer-in-Training exam (E.I.T.) and looks forward to attaining his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. From DBF’s Salisbury office, Townsend is working with the firm’s site planning department on a number of Eastern Shore projects which include site engineering for the new Bridgeville Police Station and the new Sussex Consortium School.
Also joining DBF at their office in Salisbury, Raul Sanchez, E.I.T., is providing services for the firm’s Municipal Engineering department, including decommissioning of the existing wastewater treatment plant in Fairmount and the design of their new transmission system, providing on-call services for the Ironshire Pump 
Station in Snow Hill, and assisting with inspections for drinking water treatment upgrades in Selbyville. Originally from Ecuador, Sanchez recently graduated from University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a degree in Civil Engineering. He currently resides in Salisbury.
Looking to explore future career possibilities, Connor Hudson has provided a variety of 
services this summer as a DBF intern. He is now preparing to enter his senior year atSalisbury’s James M. Bennett High School and, following his graduation in 2018, Hudson eventually plans to study engineering at a college or university on the western side of Maryland.
