The Maryland Department of Labor’s Division of Labor and Industry will be offering free workshops to ensure employers and employees stay informed on laws and regulations covering employment standards (payroll, HR, retail, restaurants), prevailing wage (construction and landscaping), worker classification (construction and landscaping) and an overview of occupational safety and health in any industry (safety managers, HR). The event will be held December 5, from a.m. to 3 p.m.
