Getting Started in Farming Course at Wor-Wic

Interested in producing food or raising animals?  Turn your hobby into a business! Farming is not as simple as it once was.  Discover how to be a successful agricultural producer by understanding the different types and areas of farming you can be involved with.  Focus on the various aspects of farming such as: agronomy, soil, testing, marketing/technology, animal production, irrigation, regulations, greenhouses and small farm equipment.  Be ready to start you own farming business armed with the tools you’ll need to succeed.

Register with Wor Wic online or by mail.  See their Fall 2015 “non-credit” catalog (page 10) for more details.  This course will be held at WorWic Community College in Salisbury, MD.  This is a 4-session course starting on September 22, 2015 and will be held for two weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-11:30am.
