Governor Hogan to Speak at Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Luncheon

Larry-Hogan

Maryland Governor Lawrence J. Hogan, Jr. will travel to the Eastern Shore to speak at The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Lunch with the Governor” on June 26 at 11:30 a.m. at the La Quinta Inn & Suites. Hogan will address attendees on topics pertaining to Maryland’s economic stature, the impact of proposed Federal budget cuts, as well as other current issues the Free State faces. His appearance is slated to be his only engagement in Salisbury in the coming months and presents a rare opportunity for area citizens.

Governor Hogan is the 62nd governor of the State of Maryland, and has served in the position for two years. He grew up in Landover, Md. and is the first Maryland governor in over a century to be from Anne Arundel County. Hogan is one of only two Republican governors to serve the state in nearly five decades.

Businesses will have the opportunity to reserve tables with seating for eight for $350. Each reservation includes tabletop signage, recognition on the SACC website, and at the event. The luncheon is open to the public; however, the cost of attendance is $30 for Chamber members and $45 for non-members. Pre-registration is mandatory, as seating will be very limited. No walk-ins will be accepted.
