Molly Hilligoss, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County, announced that Habitat for the Holidays is scheduled for Wednesday, December 7th at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.
“Habitat for the Holiday’s is a great opportunity to show support to Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County. Our second annual luncheon is on Wednesday, December 7th from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm in the Midway Room at the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center. This event helps further our mission to allow deserving, low-income families to purchase safe, decent and affordable housing. We would like for you to share this event with us by sponsoring a table or purchasing individual tickets. This is an opportunity to reward your employees or clients with an entertaining holiday luncheon while helping the community and earning a tax deduction for your business. Entertainment is provided by the Salisbury University Squawkappellas! We will also feature a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle with an appearance from Santa! Habitat has built or renovated 18 homes in the Church Street area, and a total of 63 in the county, stimulating private investment and helping to reduce crime.
