Peninsula Home Care (PHC), an award winning home care agency on the Lower Shore of Delmarva, announced the promotion of Jennifer Kline to Maryland branch director. Jennifer oversees the Salisbury and Ocean Pines staff to ensure quality of care is delivered in a timely manner and is responsible for hiring skilled and qualified personnel to support home care patients’ needs.
In 1992, Jennifer graduated from University of North Carolina Wilmington, Cameron School of Business with a degree in Business Management. Shortly after, she returned to school at Queens University of Charlotte to become a Registered Nurse. Jennifer worked in the ICU at Charlotte Medical Center and also spent time in a rehabilitation facility before joining the Peninsula Home Care team in 2011. As a case manager, she worked in the field delivering direct patient care. In 2012, she was promoted to clinical manager in the Salisbury office and managed the staff, was responsible for in-take, daily operations and scheduling. Two years later she moved to the Ocean Pines office and worked in the same capacity. This year Jennifer was promoted to Maryland branch director, overseeing both the Salisbury and Ocean Pines offices.
“I always loved the one-on-one interaction with patients,” said Jennifer Kline, Maryland branch director for Peninsula Home Care. “Sitting with patients and giving them my full attention was something I very much enjoyed when I worked in the field. With my new promotion I am able to take both of the degrees I earned and blend them together into one position that supports the needs of the staff so they can deliver quality care to our patients and the community.”
