Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals “Cornament” Supports United Way

Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals recently held their inaugural Lower Eastern Shore Cornhole Tournament and raised nearly $10,000 for United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore. Over 80 teams from local companies and the community at large gathered at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium to participate in friendly competition to compete for the very first title of “Cornament Champion”. The first place trophy and “bragging rights” were awarded to Jesse Dodd and Kevin Yunckes of “Tuckahoe Duo”.

“Jubilant Cadista is extremely excited to partner with United Way on this unique event. We anticipate building on the first year success and continuing to raise funds to support community programs” stated Mark Dudick, Senior Director of National Accounts of Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals.

Kathleen Mommé, Executive Director of United Way shared, “Jubilant Cadista’s generous community spirit is a true blessing for our United Way and the entire Eastern Shore. This event is a prime example of their innovative and kind-hearted employees who continue to make a difference.”

In addition to hosting the inaugural “Cornament” fundraiser, Jubilant Cadista generously supports United Way through annual employee campaigns and “Days of Caring” volunteer projects. Since 2012, employee and corporate campaign contributions have totaled nearly $50,000 and they are annually ranked among the “Top 25” United Way companies.
