Lower Shore Enterprises Appoints CEO

The Board of Directors of Lower Shore Enterprises is pleased to announce the appointment of William K. Turner as Chief Executive Officer.   Lower Shore Enterprises is the award winning community leader in providing employment partnerships for individuals with disABILITIES from Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties.

Mr. Turner brings with him years of experience successfully running a business and volunteering with non-profits in the community.  He is a certified public accountant and a graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Accounting.  He previously was President and CEO of E. S. Adkins and Company, a locally owned real estate company.  Mr. Turner’s financial background and operational business experience in the public and non-profit sectors will facilitate Lower Shore Enterprises in its mission and strategic goal of providing meaningful employment for individuals with disABILITIES, and increasing client independence.

Mr. Turner resides in Salisbury with his wife, Nancy.

In announcing Mr. Turner’s appointment, Dr. Richard McCann, Chairman of Lower Shore Enterprises, said, “I’m pleased to make the appointment of Mr. Turner because of both his business background and his experience volunteering in our community.  I’m confident that Bill will continue our success of helping our clients achieve their goals while satisfying our customers.”

Lower Shore Enterprises has operated a production facility on Owens Branch Road in Salisbury for more than 50 years and has several divisions, including production and mailing facilities, document destruction, and custodial services, as well as other customized employment opportunities throughout the community.
