
Snow Hill, MD — The Lower Shore Land Trust (LSLT) is currently seeking two full-time AmeriCorps Members to serve as Program Specialists during the 2026-2027 service year.
These positions offer individuals an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conservation, habitat restoration, environmental education, community outreach, and nonprofit operations while serving communities across Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore.
Program Specialists will work alongside LSLT staff to support a variety of conservation initiatives, including habitat restoration projects, native meadow installations, tree plantings, conservation stewardship activities, volunteer engagement, and educational programs.
“This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in conservation and community service to gain valuable professional experience while making a lasting impact on the Lower Eastern Shore,” said Matt Heim, Executive Director of Lower Shore Land Trust.
The service term begins on or after August 15, 2026, and runs through August 14, 2027. Members receive a bi-weekly living stipend, an AmeriCorps Education Award upon successful completion of service, professional development opportunities, and other benefits.
