Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore and United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore is cohosting the Lower Shore Volunteer Fair on Saturday, June 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Wor-Wic Community College in the Student Center. Over 40 nonprofit organizations’ representatives will be available to talk to interested persons regarding volunteer opportunities.
This free event will provide individuals and groups information about volunteer opportunities in the community. For nonprofit organizations, it’s an opportunity to share information and resources about their mission and volunteer needs with those who want to volunteer. The event will also feature youth activities, health information, door prizes and more!
We thank the following participating community health vendors: PRMC Wagner Wellness van, Atlantic Geneal Hospital bone density screenings, Three Lower Counties Community Services, Inc. and the Pesonal Wellnesss Center. In addition, the Wicomico Public Library bookmobile, Kona Ice, Lollipop the Clown and Sherman the Shorebird will be present.
