William R. McCain, President and CEO of W.R. McCain & Associates, Inc, was recently elected President of the Delaware Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Other chapter officers installed were: William J. Lefort, Vice President, Alexander D. Knight, Secretary, Jay White Treasurer. The Appraisal Institute is the premier organization of experienced real estate appraisal professionals in the United States. Their mission is to advance professionalism and ethics, global standards, methodologies, and practices through the professional development of property economics worldwide.
McCain started his career in real Estate in 1986 and holds the MAI designation with the Appraisal Institute and is a Certified General Appraiser. McCain specializes in different realms of the valuation industry encompassing both commercial and residential properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. His primary concentration is in the valuation of complex real estate, valuation review, and litigation matters.
McCain is involved in numerous community organizations including Chairman of Board of Trustees for Peninsula Regional Medical Center. McCain resides in Salisbury with his wife Teresa.
