“Welcome to Moe’s!®” will soon be heard on the streets of Salisbury, Md. when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens its doors at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 27 at 109 B Hampshire Road. To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, the Salisbury Moe’s will host a series of community pre-opening events on March 25 and March 26.

On Wednesday, March 25, the Salisbury Moe’s will host an All You Can Eat fundraising dinner to benefit two area schools. Wicomico High School will receive 100 percent of the net sales made from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Parkside High School’s junior class will receive 100 percent of the net sales from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. As the name implies, guests can eat all the fresh and delicious Moe’s food they want for only $10.

On Thursday, March 26, the attention to community spirit and giving shifts to area colleges. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Salisbury Moe’s will host a special College V.I.P. Party for all students, faculty and staff of Salisbury University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Wor-Wic Community College. The first 75 customers through the door will receive free Moe’s burritos for a year* and the first 600 will receive a free Moe’s lunch**. In addition, free Moe’s spirit t-shirts will be given to the first 600 customers in line for the College V.I.P. Party.

Later that evening, Moe’s will host another $10 All You Can Eat pre-opening fundraiser to support two other area schools. The James M. Bennett High School junior class will receive 100 percent of the proceeds from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the Delmar High School junior class will receive 100 percent of the proceeds from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The public is invited to join Moe’s in supporting the schools by attending the pre-opening fundraisers.

“We love making an immediate impact on the community by giving back even before we bring in a single dollar. It’s our way of saying we believe in this community, and we want to do our part to connect with its residents. I can’t think of a better way to do this than by inviting them in for a sneak peek and by partnering with local schools to help them raise funds,” commented Larry Wilson, Moe’s Southwest Grill franchisee. “We are so excited to join the Salisbury community and look forward to introducing everyone to the one-of-a-kind dining that is Moe’s.”
