AWB Engineers is pleased to announce that Matthew M. Morgan, P.E., LEED AP, has been appointed to the Board of Directors and is now a Principal Engineer for the firm. Mr. Morgan, a mechanical engineer with over 11 years of experience with AWB Engineers, has provided pragmatic Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing Design Solutions for Commercial and Industrial Buildings. Mr. Morgan has risen from Staff Engineer to Principal Engineer, and has been a key team member in completing many designs for the firm, including the Perdue Corporate Office (LEED Platinum) and the Salisbury Zoo’s Animal Health Building (LEED Certified).
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park in 2003 and also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Salisbury University in 2002. Mr. Morgan has been licensed as a professional engineer in Maryland since January 2009 and also holds professional engineering registrations in Delaware, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. He currently lives in Salisbury with his wife, Sarah. He enjoys playing golf and tennis and spending time with his family.
