It’s that time of year again! Time to ring in the New Year in Downtown Salisbury with a ball drop in front of Headquarters Live, complete with live music by The Larks, Breakfast, AMP Studios, Tops Cut Off Productions and Fireworks at Midnight! The event is on Saturday, December 31st from 8-midnight, and is a free, all-ages family-friendly event. Beer and wine will be available for purchase on the street in the main event area, plus local food trucks like Vittles Food Truck, Berk’s Hot Dogs Food Truck & Phat Boyz Food Truck!
Rev up those noisemakers, grab your friends and get ready for a night filled with live music, giveaways, and more! The 4.5 foot wide ball will be brighter and more colorful this year as it’s lowered from a City of Salisbury Fire Department tower truck at the intersection of Circle Avenue and Division Street at the stroke of midnight. Free parking will be available in lot one and in the parking garage.
A fireworks display sponsored by the City of Salisbury will also take place at midnight, and will be shot off at the vacant property at 500 Riverside Drive, across from Rise Up Coffee, with prime viewing all over downtown, and especially from Brew River’s Dock Bar! Some minor road closures will occur in the immediate area of Riverside Drive from 11:30pm – 12:15am, and traffic will be re-routed along convenient detours.
