Notice of Professional Level Job Opening: Lower Shore Enterprises (LSE) Executive Director (CEO)

The Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officer of LSE, Inc., reports to the board of directors, and is responsible for LSE’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. With the Board, the CEO is accountable for program development, and administration prioritizing the work and culture of LSE by facilitating vocational and social opportunities for individuals with disabilities in the most community integrated setting possible. The CEO oversees the daily operation of LSE in the areas of operations, accounting, human resources, and assets maximization of LSE. The CEO develops, maintains and advocates an effective working relationship with clients, guardians, employees, volunteers, community partners and agencies, DDA, DORS, and DE DDDS, and the LSE Board of Directors while staying abreast of and evaluating internal and external developments which may impact the long term success of LSE.

Qualifications
Minimum bachelors degree in Business Administration and five years experience in management, administration and/or rehabilitation field. Experience with non-profit agencies and the Developmentally Disabled. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point. Excellent oral and written skills, organization, accuracy, dependable work habits, compassionate understanding and support of the LSE mission and ability to motivate, lead and sustain a positive and productive work environment. Ideal candidates will also have manufacturing and/or operational experience, and/or experience with governmental agencies and compliance, and knowledge of local agencies and LSE partners.
