October 9 – 11 2017, Robert W. Culver, President of Culver Consulting in Salisbury, Maryland, will be attending the Association of the United States Army’s (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition. This meeting and exposition is held every October in Washington D.C.
This meeting is the largest military land-power exposition and professional development forum in North America. Over the course of three days, U.S. Army leadership will highlight the capabilities of various Army organizations, as well as industry presenting a wide range of products and services. Throughout the three days the meeting is held the Army will provide presentations on the state of the Army. Additionally there will be panel discussions and seminars on pertinent military and national security subjects, and valuable networking events for those attending.
It is expected there will be over 26,000 attendees from all over the world, as well as over 600 displays in five halls located on both levels of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Close to 300,000 net square feet of display space, nine international pavilions: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Korea, Turkey and the United Kingdom. There will be opportunities for direct conversations with Industry leaders and U.S. Army procurement and contracting officials, with information and knowledge that will help companies participating achieve their own business goals while support the Army’s needs and goals.
As well as everything mentioned above, the U.S. Army Office of Small Business Programs is hosting a Small Business Seminar which includes discussion of Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC- APG) Opportunities, Legislative Update, a Panel discussion of Commercial Buying; Barriers to Entry; IT Acquisition; Small Business Administration Programs and Policies Update, and matchmaking sessions with representatives from the Army, DoD OSBP, Prime Contractors, and Federal Agencies.
