Robyn Coughenour Promoted to Director of Clinical Services for Peninsula Home Care

Peninsula Home Care at Nanticoke is pleased to announce the promotion of Robyn Coughenour to director of clinical services for Peninsula Home Care and Peninsula Home Care at Nanticoke, covering Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. A nurse for 27 years, Robyn has worked in the home care industry for 20 years. She started as a behavioral health home care and hospice nurse. She also served in home care management and administration in a variety of positions from clinical manager to director of operations for the last 18 years. In 2004, Robyn opened the first Delaware Peninsula Home Care branch office in Seaford, Delaware.

As director of clinical services, Robyn is accountable for directing and implementing processes that monitor and facilitate continuous improvement of the clinical services delivered by the organization. She coordinates and participates in orientation, training programs, staff development, regulations, and accrediting standards. Robyn is a member of the senior management team, participating in strategic planning, policy development and implementation, and administrative decision making with a focus on the integrity of the company’s clinical practice.

Originally from Kent Island, Maryland, Robyn received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Maryland and is a Diploma RN graduate of Macqueen Gibbs Willis School of Nursing. She is a lifelong resident of the Eastern Shore of Maryland and enjoys spending time with her family and giving back to her community.
