The Salisbury Elks Lodge recently presented a check for $1,000 to MAC Inc., the Area Agency on Aging. The funds were proceeds from a dance held at the lodge to benefit the recent Soles for Seniors event, which raises money for MAC’s Senior Emergency Loan Program. This program makes interest-free loans to eligible area seniors toward the purchase of hearing aids, dentures and eyeglasses, which are not covered by Medicare.
