Wor-Wic Community College recently welcomed Kari Schamberger of Salisbury as an assistant professor of education.
Prior to taking this full-time position, she taught education at Wor-Wic on a part-time basis for the past eight years, as well as being a reading specialist for the Seaford School District since 2012.
Schamberger received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Wilmington University in Georgetown, Del. She and her husband, Daniel, director of the Eastern Shore Regional Mosquito Control Office of the Maryland Department of Agriculture and a part-time science instructor at Wor-Wic, have a son, Nathan, 6.
