Do you have a million dollar idea? Want to pitch it to Shark Tank? 47 ABC and Salisbury University’s Perdue School of Business are pleased to announce the return of the Shark Tank Casting Call to Salisbury, MD.
“We are honored and excited to have the Casting Manager of Shark Tank come to Salisbury two years in a row,” says 47 ABC General Manager Kathleen McLain.
The Casting Call will take place on Saturday, May 9th, 2015, at the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business. On-site registration starts at 9AM and tapings at 10AM. Walk-ins will be accepted, but you can pre-register to guarantee a time slot. Pre-registration is now open; just call the 47 ABC offices at 410.742.4747 x 346. All entrants will star in a short video that will be sent to the Casting Offices of the hit ABC show Shark Tank for review and possible selection. The Saturday Shark Tank Casting Call wraps up three days of entrepreneurship competitions at the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business. On Thursday, May 7th is the Shore Hatchery competition, sponsored by the Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation. That following Friday, May 8th is the Student Entrepreneurship Competition, including the Bernstein Achievement Awards for Excellence. LAUNCH/SBY, a place designed to encourage and support local entrepreneurs, will be holding several events to help entrepreneurs prepare for these events. Side Hustler Dinner will be on Wednesday, April 22nd from 5-7pm and will offer a quiet place to work on a business plan and pitch, with plenty of space, office supplies and Maya Bella’s pizza. Immediately following this will be Pitching Practice; April 22nd from 7-9pm, Bobby Audley of LAUNCH/SBY and John Hickman of SBDC will lead a brief workshop on how to pitch a business plan. There is also a Shark Tank Cram Session; Monday, May 4, 5-9pm which offers a quiet place to cram and practice a pitch in front of other aspiring entrepreneurs.
