Mayor Jake Day was proud to announce that Short Street has been renamed Christian Shelter Way in a public event which was held this past Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Executive Director, Anthony Dickerson, was thrilled to share this tribute with staff, members of the community and the board of directors.
Christian Shelter, Inc. is located in Salisbury, Maryland and is a temporary emergency shelter providing safe shelter, nutritious meals, practical and spiritual direction, and the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ to people in crisis. Since it’s opening in December 1980, it has sheltered and ministered to more than 28,400 individuals and has served more than 500,000 meals.
