Over 70 members of the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce joined us on March 6 to celebrate with a ribbon cutting and have a sneak preview of the soon-to-open restaurant Smoking Monsters Korean BBQ and Sushi Bar, located at 1016 S. Salisbury Boulevard in Salisbury, Maryland.
Guests were welcomed by owners Nicole and Jackie Liu, who also own Manna Asian Cuisine in Salisbury and Kaiju Sushi & Ramen Bar in Berlin, and who have been working hard to make this dream come true. The 4,000 sq. ft. restaurant, which was built from scratch, has a seating capacity for 120 people and specializes in providing Korean BBQ, but will also have a sushi bar and a full bar for patrons to sit and enjoy music.
Nicole shared that “It’s an honor to have you here with us celebrating the opening of our third restaurant and being here to have a sneak peak of what it would look like! It has been a long journey to build this restaurant with this specific style and we are very excited and proud of how it turned out. Each table has its own grill, and we will have the servers take the orders and cook the food for our guests. One cool thing is that we will have robots delivering food! Once we are fully open, we will be open 7 days a week from 11am to 10am. We will have one menu one, the same price all day long. Soft opening next week, stay tuned on our Facebook page for exact opening day.”
Everyone sampled a variety of Korean BBQ dishes and fresh sushi that will be available when the restaurant opens. Door prizes included $30 gift cards for the restaurant.
The restaurant will most likely have a soft opening next week. Follow them on their Facebook page for updates on opening and operating hours or visit their website at www.smokingmonstersby.com.
