Wicomico County Public Schools is offering what we consider the “Best Job in the World” – teaching in Wicomico County, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore! WCPS consists of 26 schools and learning centers serving more than 15,000 students each day. We’re in search of teachers who want to make a difference in the lives of children, foster growth in each of our students, and help them become empowered to be the best they can be. Come find out how to join this winning team on Saturday, Nov. 4 as we host a “one of a kind” Teacher Recruitment & Hiring Day from 10 a.m.-noon at James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury. In addition to recruiting teaching candidates for the 2018-2019 school year, in some instances we will be making offers on the spot! Come find out more about Wicomico County Public Schools, and maybe even go home with a teaching job. WCPS is based in Salisbury, Md., on the Eastern Shore of Maryland between the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean. We are 30 minutes from the beaches of Ocean City, and a two- to three-hour drive to surrounding cities of Baltimore, Washington and Philadelphia.
