Cellar House Farm is excited to announce that they are hosting an open house on Wednesday, October 2, from 4-7 pm. The beautiful new wedding and event venue, located on the banks of the Pocomoke River on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, will begin hosting weddings and various events in the spring of 2025.

Join us for appetizers, beverages, and music as we introduce you to this stunning riverfront property. With its long historical story, remote privacy, and extensive lawns, the 400-acre colonial-era farm will be open to exploring and envisioning its event potential before its grand opening next spring. It’s the perfect place for your next wedding, event, or celebration!

Located at 2634 Cellar House Road in Pocomoke, MD, The Cellar House Farm is just 20 minutes from Salisbury and 45 minutes from Ocean City.

The Cellar House Farm features the namesake home surrounded by approximately 20 acres of lawns overlooking the beautiful Pocomoke River. The entrance to the farm is a 1-mile-long lane through meadows, forest, and agriculture fields. The extensive lawn areas afford multiple options for hosting events with the river, house, pond, lagoon, arbor, gazebos, and fire pit as features to work with.

The Cellar House Farm has stood the test of time since America’s colonial era. The home’s construction, circa 1700, was most likely at the site of an earlier colonial homestead, and before that, the location had been described as a Native American field.  The farm was attained in 1965 by John L. Graham III (Jack) and family. As a prominent architect on the Eastern Shore, Jack discovered the property while designing Maryland’s “Shad Landing State Park” just upriver.  As an advocate of Historical Preservation, Jack restored the old home and, with his family, enjoyed the property for the next 57 years.

Jack’s legacy and love for the Cellar House Farm are continued by his family today. For the first time, its history, natural beauty, and serenity will be available for others to enjoy as we open the grounds for events.
