SALISBURY — TidalHealth Primary and Specialty Care is pleased to announce that Erica Trego is its Team Member of the Month for February 2025.
Trego is a Medical Assistant who works primarily at TidalHealth Cardiovascular Surgery in Salisbury. She was nominated by Dr. Wehberg and Practice Manager, Kim Bush, for demonstrating the values of accountability, community, quality and service:
“Ms. Trego has been part of the cardiovascular surgery program for many years. I have had the honor of interacting with her for over four years. As a medical assistant, she prepares patient medical records, prepares patients for consultation visits and surgery, and manages patients after surgery. She has the most pleasant, professional, and lovely bedside manner that makes patients feel at ease. In addition, she is an outstanding team member who always offers help to the team. Patients and team members love her!
Three years ago, we expanded our cardiovascular surgery program into Delaware, where we have built busy, productive, and superior programs in Millsboro in Seaford. Erica offered to help establish and build Cultures of Excellence for these programs. She travels more than 45 miles twice weekly to our three locations and remains pleasant and eager to help the program ‘no matter what it takes.’ This is above and beyond the expectations of any team member.
Erica is the epitome of the ‘Culture of Excellence.’ We are blessed and honored to have such an incredible team member in our family of cardiothoracic surgery at TidalHealth!”
