WICOMICO NAACP will host a Community Forum on August 28th at 7:00pm .
Place: Chipman Cultural Center, 325 Broad Street, Salisbury, MD

Purposes:
1. To engage citizens in developing sustaining strategies to address charges of police misconduct.
2. To learn how to build sustaining police and citizens’ relationship.

Speaker: Charles E. Phillips is the Conciliation Specialist of the Community Relations Service, U.S.
Department of Justice. He will facilitate this meeting. Mr. Phillips will speak about the services
that the Community Relations Service can provide which include technical assistance on starting
a police review board, several police/community training that they provide including Cultural
Professionalism and Racial Profiling and mediation between law enforcement and community
groups.
