Wicomico Sheriff’s Office wins Wor-Wic 5K Team Cup Challenge

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office won the Law Enforcement Team Cup Challenge at the fifth annual 5K Run/Walk for Wor-Wic, sponsored by the Wor-Wic Community College Foundation at the college campus in Salisbury on Saturday.

Winning the team cup for the Sheriff’s Office were Jordan Banks, Steve Fisher and Evan Kolb.

With a time of 18:09, the overall male winner of the 5K race portion of the event was Jack Reimer, 15, of Berlin. The overall female winner was Kate Nichols, 16, of Hebron, with a time of 20:53.2015 5K PR 8386

Runners ranged in age from 11 to 67.

Proceeds of more than $27,000 will benefit the students of Wor-Wic.

She had a winning time of 20:47.
