After four long months of isolation, canceled events, and a plethora of Zoom meetings, Chamber members gathered on July 9, 2020, at Wicomico Yacht Club in Eden, MD, for a long-awaited return of one of the Chamber’s most popular networking events – Business After Hours.
Located in a safe harbor on the Wicomico River, the Wicomico Yacht Club offers memberships for all to enjoy their waterfront facilities, full-service marina, seasonal outdoor pool, a seasonal Tiki Bar and fine or casual dining. Exclusive member events are also offered throughout the year.
Rear Commodore Zach Johnson and his team rolled out the red carpet, serving up an array of delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks, while guests mingled and enjoyed the gorgeous river views.
Commodore Dean Murray commented, “We are so proud to have the opportunity to host the Salisbury Area Chamber and their members this evening. The Wicomico Yacht Club is delighted to have been the first venue to welcome back in-person Chamber events as well.”
Several attendees stated how pleased they were that Business After Hours has resumed as a regular Chamber benefit for members and future members.
