SALISBURY, MD – Wicomico County Recreation & Parks’ Wicomico Youth Soccer League has expanded its age divisions and offers new opportunities for both coed and girl’s teams.
The WYSL focuses on developing children’s soccer skills while teaching the importance of good sportsmanship and teamwork. The season begins Sept. 11. Games will be played at WinterPlace park or other county parks as needed.
The 3’s-U7 divisions play games on Saturdays. The U9-U13 divisions have one practice per week and play games on Saturdays. Occasionally there will be a weekday game for the older divisions.
The 3’s division is for children born in 2019. The U5 division is for children born in 2017-2018. The U7 division is for children born in 2015-2016. The U9 division is for children born in 2013-2014. The Girl’s U11 and coed U11 divisions are for children born in 2011-2012. The Girl’s U13 and coed U13 divisions are for children born in 2009-2010.
Registration is open through Aug 24. The 3’s division is $40 per participant and the U5-U13 divisions are $55 per participant. Registration is available at the Wicomico Civic Center box office (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.) and online at www.WicomicoRecandParks.org.
