Wor-Wic Community College recently held its 18th annual golf tournament at the college’s Ocean Resorts Golf Club in Berlin. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the college’s on-campus child development center.
This year’s top team with the lowest gross score was the Union Bank & Trust team of Henry and Don Hall, Mike Marshall and Scott Schreiber, followed by the Peninsula Regional Medical Center team of Roger Follebout, Randy Hockenbrock, Tom Jones and Scott Phillips. Third place went to the Aflac team of Kyle Bounds, Dale Cropper, John Holloway and Brian Shockley.
The top team with the lowest net score was the Barr Enterprises team of Rich and Stu Barr, Dr. John Routenburg and Michael Sullivan, followed by the Oceans East Luxury Apartments team of Dr. Ray Hoy, Vic Laws, John Lerch and Bill Rinnier,. Third place in net score went to the Wilfre Company team of Andrew Haldeman, Martin Harrison, Tony Pierson and Ray Somers.
Longest drive winners were Clair Barr and Ryan DeVage. Winner of the putting contest was James Dickie. Closest to the pin prizes were awarded to Bill Chambers, Lawton Myrick, Trent Pusey and Brian Shockley.
