YMCA of the Chesapeake Hires Director of Strategy and Alignment

SALISBURY, MD – April, 2021 – The YMCA of the Chesapeake announced the hiring of Kevin Lindsay as the organizations first-ever Director of Strategy and Alignment. In this new role, Lindsay will support staff and volunteers to work toward development of strategies that strengthen connections with diverse populations and align the Y to better reflect the communities it serves across the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia.

Bringing people and communities together has never been more important to our mission and to the health and well-being of our country, and Kevin is going to be a huge help as we work toward that goal. We can do more and will do more with his leadership.”

Lindsay is a graduate of Salisbury University and lives in Fruitland, MD with his wife, Leliya, and his two children, Keylianna and Xavier. In addition to his work within the community, he volunteers on numerous boards and regularly gives his time as a coach for youth sports across the Shore.
