The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its first ever CEO & VIP Craft Beer Tasting in partnership with Shorecraft Beer, and sponsored by Salisbury University Downtown Art Galleries. February has been deemed “Febrewary, Craft Beers Lovers Month” locally and around Delmarva and this tasting will celebrate craft brewing as a key economic driver for Maryland.
The event is an opportunity for breweries around the Eastern Shore to purvey their products and educate community, government, and business leaders from the region about the importance of craft beer in Maryland. There will be food pairings for each type of beer brought in. Ann Hillyer, Executive Director of Shorecraft Beer will be making a presentation about recent Maryland legislation regarding the industry, its culture, and incontrovertible evidence for supporting these local artisans.
Bill Chambers, President and CEO of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce expressed the Chamber’s fervent support of this cause.

This event will feature fine homegrown craft beers that Maryland is fast become famous internationally for! Paired with local fare to boot.”
The event will feature twelve to fifteen breweries, offering unlimited tastings. There will also be heavy hors d’oeuvres from Gilbert’s Provisions including: : Deviled Eggs w/ Old Bay and Caviar
Mini Beer-guettes w/ Prosciutto, Gruyere and Aioli
Confit Chicken Wings w/ Hopped Hot Sauce and Malted Crema
Rabbit Rillete on Barley Crackers w/ Sultana Jelly
Beer/Cheese Dip w/ Pretzel Crackers. It will be held at the Salisbury University Downtown Art Gallery, at 212 W. Main Street Salisbury, Maryland, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. February 15.
