“Meet the Democratic Candidates for Governor: A Forum on the Eastern Shore” is on Saturday, April 14, from 3-5 p.m. at Salisbury University. Sponsored by the SU College Democrats and the Wicomico County Democratic Central Committee, the event is in Assembly Hall in the Guerrieri Academic Commons. The forum is free and open to the public.
There are seven Democratic candidates for Governor of Maryland. Five of them will be present at the forum: Rushern L. Baker III, county executive of Prince George’s County (https://www.rushernbaker.com/); Richard S. Madaleno Jr., Maryland state senator, Montgomery County (http://www.madalenoformaryland.com/); Alec Ross, former senior Obama Administration official and technology entrepreneur (https://alecross.com/about/); Jim Shea, Baltimore lawyer and former chairman of the University System of Maryland’s Board of Regents (https://jimshea.com/); and Krish Vignarajah, former policy director for Michelle Obama and senior advisor at the State Department (http://krishformaryland.com/).
The moderator is Don Rush, news director at Public Radio Delmarva (WSCL/WSDL).
