Salisbury, MD – The Coastal Association of REALTORS® (Coastal) held its annual Legislative Reception on Wednesday, May 10, 2018 at the Ward Museum.
Over 60 REALTOR® and affiliate members, state elected officials, and local elected officials attended the event, held in the Thomas F. Mullan Jr. Legacy Center. Attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and drinks from Vittles Catering while listening to guest speakers Chief Legislative Officer for Gov. Larry Hogan’s Office Chris Shank, Sen. Jim Mathias, Del. Sheree Sample-Hughes, Del. Chris Adams, Del. Johnny Mautz, Del. Charles Otto, Del. Carl Anderton, and Del. Mary Beth Carozza. The elected officials provided an update on what they accomplished during the 2018 Legislative Session of the Maryland General Assembly.
“We greatly appreciate the elected officials taking time out of their busy schedules to attend our reception,” said Coastal President Joel Maher. “We certainly learned a lot about how this year’s session may impact our industry. We also got a sneak peek at this year’s campaign platforms, as this is a big election year and it will be interesting to see what our Eastern Shore Delegation will look like next year in Annapolis.”
Two door prizes – $100 gift cards – were awarded to members during the reception.
