SALISBURY, MD—Applications are being accepted for the 15th round of funding through Salisbury University’s Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation Shore Hatchery entrepreneurship program from August 31-September 28.
Business startups throughout the Mid-Atlantic are eligible to apply for their share of $200,000 per academic year.
Participants will pitch their business ideas on October 30, via Zoom, to the board during a “Gull Cage” competition similar to the format used for the hit ABC-TV show Shark Tank. Recipients will be selected based on their Zoom presentations to the program’s board of directors.
The Ratcliffe Shore Hatchery program is a 10-year $2 million initiative, which began in 2013. It is administered through SU’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business.
