Each municipality in the State of Maryland is required to update its Comprehensive Plan every 10 years to address future growth and planned development. This helps to ensure the City allocates the appropriate resources to support the people of Salisbury and that new growth is complimentary to the community fabric. The City of Salisbury is in the process of updating the Comprehensive Plan. Previous and recently completed planning studies and information on the 2024 update can be found at the City of Salisbury’s Department of Infrastructure and Development webpage. Public engagement is an important part of the planning process, a public open house workshop is scheduled for January 17, 2024 from 6:00 to 7:30pm at the Salisbury Fire Department Headquarters – Station 16. The address is 325 Cypress Street, Salisbury, MD 21801. The flier is attached. Please help spread the word with friends and neighbors.
