On April 13th, 2024, Women Supporting Women is holding a recurrence conference for breast cancer survivors at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. The aim of this event is to provide support and guidance to breast cancer survivors facing the fear of recurrence.
This conference has been made possible through a generous grant from the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. Attendance to this conference is free for breast cancer survivors.
The conference will feature three esteemed guest speakers. Veronica Correa, Clinical Director from the Personal Wellness Center will share insights on coping with the fear of recurrent breast cancer. Michelle Dix, a Registered Dietician from the Fixer Upper Health Club, will provide valuable nutrition tips for managing breast cancer effectively. Additionally, Dr. Gupta a Medical Oncologist at Lotus Hematology & Oncology will deliver updates on the latest medical advancements in the field. Red Bird Legacy Foundation will be present as a vendor offering additional resources and support.
