Salisbury, MD – Salisbury University, in partnership with M&T Bank, recently hosted Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County at a Salisbury University men’s lacrosse game as part of their Eastern Shore Everyday Hero program. Monty Sayler, Senior Vice President of M&T Bank, presented a $25,000 check to Habitat for Humanity’s Executive Director, Molly Hilligoss, for Habitat’s new administrative offices and ReStore.
“We are fortunate to have strong community relationships with M&T and Salisbury University,” said Hilligoss. “For many years, both of these organizations have supported our efforts in ensuring safe, decent and affordable homes for our local residents in need, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the partnerships we have forged with them.”
Monica Polizzi, Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation at Salisbury University, and Salisbury University’s men’s soccer team were present to celebrate the longstanding relationship between the University and Habitat. The men’s soccer team volunteered at Habitat’s recent Chefs for Habitat gala, which raised over $120,000 for the organization’s programs.
