The Eastern Shore Society for Human Resource Management is hosting their bi-annual regional conference on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Fountains Conference Center located in Salisbury, Maryland.

Donald Shandler whose work has been published in Talent Development Magazine will present on managers as employee learning and development champions. David Johnson, VP and Senior Consultant with Sibson Consulting based in DC will speak about motivation and wellness strategies. Earn strategic continuing education credits with Dan Carusi, VP and Chief Learning Officer at Deltek, who will present how CEO’s outwit, outlast and outplay to gain a competitive advantage. Lastly, renowned author and recruiting guru, Ira Wolfe, President of Success Performance Solutions, will present on recruiting and hiring strategies.

Since its grass roots beginning in 2002 with a handful of members, the chapter currently boasts membership in excess of 100 HR managers. Many members are seasoned HR professionals. In fact, nearly ¼ of the members are certified through the Society for Human Resource Management. The majority of our members are emerging professionals in the human resource field or they perform human resource duties as part of their jobs.
