Salisbury, MD — Wicomico Recreation & Parks’ offers opportunities for youth members of the community to play flag football, soccer, softball, basketball and golf this spring.
NFL FLAG football returns to Wicomico County this spring. This program is no contact, giving kids of all abilities a chance to develop their fundamental football skills in a positive, inclusive environment. This program is $65 per player and it is highly encouraged to inquire about scholarships.
FUNdamental Soccer is a six-week youth training program for divisions U7-U11. Kids will focus on the foundations and fundamentals of soccer using specialized, age-appropriate drills and games. This program is $50 per player and includes a soccer ball.
Junior Girls Softball is a recreational league for girls ages 4-16. Girls of all experience and skill level are invited to join. Li’l Miss T-Ball is $70 per player. Ponytail Coach Pitch and Pre-Minor League is $75 per player. Minor League and Major League are $80 per player.
WYBL Skills Academy returns this spring. Kids will learn the basic fundamentals of basketball in a fun, non-competitive environment. Session 1 will be from April 7-23 and Session 2 will be from May 5-21. It is $60 per participant.
The Junior Eastern Shore Golf League is a six-week session for kids ages 8-18. Using local golf courses in the area, young golfers will be introduced to the game and more advance golfers are given a chance to experience what it’s like to play in high school. This league is $60 per person with $5 due at the course.
