Salisbury, MD — At the heart of the TidalHealth Foundation’s mission is the Guardian Angel program — a meaningful way for patients and families to honor caregivers who made a profound difference in their medical journey through compassion, expertise and humanity.
Through this program, a grateful family recently recognized members of TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 3 West care team — including Gioanna Todd, Kristi Kilchenstein, Cynthia LaBrush, Annette Morgan, Dr. Qamar Iqbal and Dr. Juwairiya Shuroog — for the extraordinary compassion and clinical excellence shown during their mother’s long and final hospital stay in January 2026.
The family shared that the love, patience and dignity extended to their mother — as well as the emotional support provided to them during one of life’s most difficult seasons — left a lasting impact. As a special gesture of gratitude, the donor also provided lunch for the nurses, celebrating the care team’s dedication and ensuring their exceptional efforts were recognized in a meaningful way.
