Salisbury, MD — Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore hosted its second annual JA Empower event on Wednesday, April 15 at the Talbot County Community Center in Easton, MD.

This immersive event brought high school students, employers, colleges, training programs and the military together for a hands-on career exploration experience. Students explored the three E\’s – Employment, Education and Enlistment. JA Empower is designed to help high school students take charge of their future by turning curiosity into action while they prepare for life after high school.

This interactive career fair connected students directly with local professionals, programs, and career pathways that shape life after graduation. The event included a section on “How to be a Successful Adult” that is focused on life skills with experts who answered student questions on a variety of topics including investing and saving, resume writing, how to start a business and more.
